This superior villa will attract any curious mind traveller who seeks an over the top accomondation that will stand out of the ordinary, yet only a few min from the beach. Only constructed on 2022 the architecture of the building inside & out, has a definite wow factor, that cures the mind and elevate the senses. Boasting a private 70sqm pool (with kids pool) and a non heated jacuzzi and high -end appliances .
Macaw Luxury Residence is part of Muses Travel Premium collection Villas.
Taken inspiration of modern nordic style, this splendid villa aims to attract the eye of the most demanding traveller.
Wooden covered surfaces thorough the interior , several mirrors and large windows prevail the area in order to create a continuity into the spaces and blare the lines of inside and out. A discreet nostalgia of retro aesthetic in which the architect wanted to create an unrivalled version of 50's vibes tangled carefully with a modern perspective.
Mustard and orange tones intepresent the colours of warm sunset while touches of black and brown embody the pristine Cretan land.
INTERIOR
As the guest enters this 270sqm villa he first encounters an impressive hall and staircase that leads him on first floor. Staying on ground floor, on his left hand he will meet an open plan living room kitchen and dining area with direct access to the pool & Bbq area. Tastefully furnished and equipped with high end appliances everything he might need during his stay is there (fridge, microwave, oven, hob, filter coffee machine & Nespresso, dishwasher, boiler, multi, toaster, kitchen ware & uttensils and a 64' smart Tv with Netflix.)
On his right hand, he will find a first Wc, a seperate laundry room (washing machine & dryer are available) and the first two bedrooms with ensuite full bathrooms (one of them consists a king-size double bed, while the other has 2 single beds).
Moving upstairs, he will find 4 more bedrooms (3 of them with king-size bed and 1 with two single beds.) All bedrooms have full ensuite bathrooms with walk in showers and are equipped with anatomic matresses , hair dryers and a 43' smart Tv with netflix.
Furthermore, 3 of the upstairs bedrooms have private balconies overlooking either the sea and the pool or the mountains on the back.
Complimentary wifi is available thorough the villa (inside and out) while airconditioning is available in all spaces.
EXTERIOR
In the front of the property, one can see a private 70sqm (1.5 deep) pool that includes a children's pool perfect to ensure that your little ones use it safely. Adittioanaly a 3seater non heated jacuzzi will provide moments of ultimate relaxation.
All exterior high end furniture such us sunbeds, puff beds, outdoor living room and dining area maximise comfort and is where the group either of family /friends or couples will spend most of their time.
On the back of the property, you will find a spacious lawn yard covered with a large children playground.

Skaleta is one of the first-developed areas in Rethymno in terms of tourism. This was because it has a long sandy beach and a strategic point that it is close to many attractions and interest places in Crete that any traveller would like to visit. Laid on top of the hill above Skaleta, our villa has beautiful views of the sea and is in walking distance from the closest beach, taverna and minimarket. Furthermore, it is is in walking distance to the bus stop with frequent buses to Rethymno and Panormo village (every 30min) or Heraklion and Bali beaches (every 1hour). All the above, make it an ideal location for any kind of traveller, whether you are a family with children, a group of friends or couples!

The number of guest should not exceed the number referred at the rental agreement. We do not hold any responsibility for the extra people.
While all pools are built to the standards of the Greek Tourism Organization, parents have full responsibility for supervising their children. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted to use the pool or hot tubs at any time without adult supervision. Diving is also prohibited.

Our experience staying in the Macaw Villa was perfect from beginning to end. Evmorfia was very kind, patient and informative from the first moment we reached out to her inquiring about the villa, she answered every question we had, she was extremely patient. The villa itself is phenomenal. The quality of the building and the materials used are of the highest standard. Staying at the Macaw villa was like staying in a fancy hotel. The cleaning service was amazing and Katerina who took care of cleaning and maintenance was super attentive and very kind, and did an excellent job at keeping the villa clean and orderly. She answered any questions we had and was very helpful. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable, the bathrooms/showers were wonderful, beautifully designed and kept impeccably clean. The pool area and the outdoor eating area were simply perfect. The baby pool is wonderful, the grandchildren LOVED it, and our older children had the best time in the pool area, plenty of chairs/beds and comfortable seating areas outside. The eating area outside was amazing as well, we ate breakfast outside each morning. I do not have enough words to describe how perfect our 6 nights were at the Macaw Villa, I highly recommend it to anyone looking to go on a family or friend vacation with 12 people. (we were 9 plus a baby). The cleaning services and the wonderful pool towels and bath towels and robes, truly give this villa a feeling that you are staying in a hotel.

We were very impressed with staying in this villa for 5 days with my family. We were welcoming in villa with some food and drinks from owners. It was unexpected pleasure for us. Everyone could find his own area when he needed it and we also could spend time together near the pool. There is everything you need inside the villa: a lot of kitchen tools, big refrigerator, electric barbecue, towels for swimming, some sport’s inventory like ping pong table with balls and rackets, balls and even some kids toys. We also asked about baby cot and there was it with mattress and linen (we often didn't get it in the other places). Housekeeper Katerina is very nice and helpful person, she has done everything I was asking about. We spend great time here and I hope that we will return. |
